In the course of the semester, we give feedback to students at least six times in each school year. In the process, we communicate with parents in the form of feedback sheet about students’ knowledge mastery level, learning habits, attitudes and behavior habits in each stage. At the end of the semester, the Department gives students overall feedback on their school performance in the form of a Final Report.
Starting from the first grade of primary school, the school will record and evaluate the performance of each student systematically, scientifically and comprehensively, breaking the traditional point-only theory. The assessment report includes the usual scores and test scores of UOI, Chinese, Mathematics, English, Science, physical education, music, art, electives and other subjects, as well as the overall evaluation of the subject. Grades are given on four levels of A,B,C and D, based on the students’ skill development and understanding of the concepts they have learned. Parents can log in to the Managebac system through registered accounts to check their children’s class performance at any time, and to track their learning progress so as to further improve the communication efficiency, and to promote home-school co-parenting and teacher-student interaction.
Each student has a dedicated student folder for each academic year to record and display works in various disciplines, and student-led meetings are organized each academic year to share the contents of the student folder.（SLC）。
